Vajra Mushti or Diamond Fist is an Indian martial art of ancient origin which employs a mixture of both grappling and striking, including use of pressure points (see Varma Kalai). Mushti means "fist" and vajra can mean either "diamond" or "thunderbolt."

An offshoot of Vajra Mushti is a Tibetan martial art known as Lion's Roar. In 1865, Lion's Roar was brought to the Green Cloud Shaolin Monastery in Guangdong Province by a Tibetan Buddhist monk named Sing Lung. There, it evolved into the Kung Fu styles of Pak Hok Pai, Lama Pai, and Hop Gar.
