I am a husband and a father first! I enjoy everything about Martial Arts (all styles), and have interests in ice hockey, music, computers, wiki, html, flash, photography, origami, and bicycling. I am an American, but living in Germany right now.

Martial Arts Background

I began studying Tang Soo Do in York, PA under now-Grandmaster Kim, Chong Su of Kim's Karate. Kim is also the founder and president of the Pan/Am Tang Soo Do Federation. My studies started at age six (6) and I went almost 6 six years to earn my 1st Dan. However, due to money I decided to stop formal study so my parents could keep some green. For the next 23 years I practiced on my own and gained knowledge about other styles and methods out there, although none was formal practice. I have since started back up, and in 2007 was promoted past 2nd Dan by my current instructor, Master Bruce Jones, of Dayton, OH.

As a 3rd Dan I have started my own school, but it is a mobile one due to my occupation. I currently teach only a youth class of three- (3) to ten- (10) years olds.
