Subyokchigi is the Korean name for Iron Palm, a training method used to increase a martial artist's striking power and to condition the body to deliver such power with reduced chance of injury. This involves mostly striking tough, heavy padded objects such as a heavy bag and similar objects. Martial artists who practice this method often demonstrate their striking power by breaking wooden boards and concrete slabs.
