Real Aikido

Real Aikido is a martial art developed in Serbia by Ljubomir Vračarević. Although its names suggests that it is a branch of Aikido, in reality, it is an art that combines Aikido, Jujutsu and Judo techniques. It is a self-defence art that teaches its practitioners disarming and maiming manuevers against an attacker. However, its dan/kyu grading system is derived from Aikido.

Although Real Aikido became the subject of various controversies within Aikido because of its name, it claims itself to be a branch of Aikido, only refined and more flexible. However, Real Aikido is not recognized by international and local Aikido clubs.
