Okinawan Kobudo which literally means the "Old Martial Way of Okinawa" is a collection of different weapons and combat techniques integrated into a single fighting system. The weapons training of this art is composed of the classical weapon traditions of Okinawa, namely the rokushakubo (six foot staff, known as the "Bo Staff" or "Bo" for short), sai (short unsharpened dagger), tonfa (handled club), kama (sickle), and nunchaku (nunchucks). In addition, it also includes the Tekko (knuckledusters), Tinbe-Rochin (Shield and Spear), and Surujin (Weighted Chain) in its training curriculum.
