Nindokai is a modern combat art that was developed in Germany by Dr. Gerhard Schönberger in 1990. It combines techniques from different Japanese martial arts into a single fighting system, designed for close combat, self-defense, personnel security, and military close combat. It utilizes both weapons and empty hand forms that can be used in any range and in any positions available. It follows a practical approach and teaches fighting and self-defense holistically (physical, emotional and psychological).
