Nguni Stick Fighting or Donga is a traditional martial art that is practicesd by the Nguni people in South Africa. In this art, participants are armed with two lonng sticks, one is used for attacking, the other is for defending. This king of fighting provides an opportunity for men to build courage and skill, to distinguish themselves as proficient warriors, and to earn respect in the community. Strength and agility are important in winning a tournament or fight.
