Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance marks the relaunch of the Mortal Kombat series with an all-new engine delivering punishing action that will reward long-time fans of the franchise as well as next-generation game lovers. The game features intense hand-to-hand and special-weapon combat, secret hidden moves and combinations with deadly body blows and fatalities. Returning from past games are all your favorite fighters, and a host of new ones, while Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, joined by such newcomers as Muerte and Quan Chi.

The new thing featured in Deadly Alliance is a completely revamped fight engine in which the graphics are in full 3D and interactive environments. Each character now has different fighting stances, allowing them to be in an offensive stance or a fatality stance. Deadly Alliance also has over 600 unlockable extras, that are opened by earning "koins" that unlock "koffins". The game also comes packaged with bonus material, such as the "making of Deadly Alliance" and "the history of Mortal Kombat".
