Mortal Kombat is the first installment of the game that revolutionized arena-style, hand-to-hand combat, you'll choose from eight unique characters, each with his or her own special moves and defenses. If you can defeat your opponents in two out of three rounds, you'll advance to the next stage. The blood flows freely, as each match ends with the victor attempting to pull off a finishing move that will leave the defeated party mangled, decapitated, or exploded into bits.
