Liuhe Quan, Liu He Quan or Six-Combination Boxing is a Chinese martial art that combines and imitates animal forms such as dragon, tiger, crane, rabbit, and monkey. It is characterized by comfortable, compact and dynamic movements and features strong but graceful stances. It requires a high amount of resourcefulness and dexterity in executing its techniques. Practitioners of Liuhe Quan move in accordance with the eight trigrams of the I Ching, which they believe to be composed of evading, extending, jumping, and moving either fast or slow, heavily or lightly. It is considered one of the most powerful of all martial arts, but due to its great complexity, few choose to learn this style.
