Kajukenbo

Kajukenbo is an eclectic martial art style developed in Hawaii in 1947 that combines Karate, Judo, Jujutsu, Kenpo, and Kung Fu. This system has been described as brutal, deadly, and street effective. By combining the mentioned techniques a kajukenbo practitioner can defend himself in many ways. He can use soft, circular kung fu techniques to evade and strike. Or he can use judo or jujitsu to throw an attacker to the ground or restrain and control him. Its training is also chracterized as brutal: broken bones and bloodied students are commonly seen after each session.
