The international competitions of Jendo started in November 29th to December 4th of 2007. It was held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Rizal Memorial Sports Complex during the 1st Asian Martial Arts Games organized by Jendo founder and originator himself, Grandmaster Jonathan "June" Makiling Abaya.
The games was the first Asian martial arts games held ever in the whole of asian regions in cooperation with the Department of Tourism and the Philippine Sports Commission and recognized by the International Martial Arts Games Committee (IMGC). Attended the event are athletes, VIP's, Sports Officials , guests and observers coming from Azerbaijan, Greenland, Hong Kong, Iran, Korea, Nepal, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand and Ukraine.
