Chicken Sickles is a group of Chinese weapons that resembles a hook sword. This weapon is especially used in Xingyiquan. There are two kinds of chicken sickles, the Chicken Claw and the Chicken Saber. The Chicken Claw is a claw like piece of metal along with a spear head, its lenght is 1.5 feet. The Chicken Saber is a type of double bladed longsword (Jian) with hook claws at the end and has the average lenght of 32 inches. Both of the weapons is used for close quarters combat.
