Catch Wrestling is a style of wrestling whcich is enjoying a surge in popularity because of its use in Mixed Martial Arts. It is a type of wrestling that uses pinning and submission techniques and becuase of this, it is considered an ancestor of submission wrestling and professional wrestling.

Catch wrestling rules include winning the best two of three falls via pin or submission. It does not rely on a point system, thus, it is a win, lose, or draw format and each fall is a maximum of 12 minutes long.
