Aikidogi is the uniform worn by an Aikidoka in Aikido training. It is made from light materials like bleached cotton, and unlike the Judogi, the Aikidogi is specially designed for mobile stances and fast movements. However, it is common to find aikidokas use similar styles of gi that resemble a Karategi or Judogi. It is important to note that the Aikidogi is worn under the traditional dark-colored Hakama which is the trademark of the style. It is derived from the traditional kimono that has the zubon and uwagi, but the uwagi is usaully tucked under the Hakama.
