MARTIAL ART PERSONALITIES In the world of martial arts, there are a few individuals who stand out among others because of their contribution and excellence in their own field. Because of handwork and discipline, their name is forever etched in the history of martial arts. We ask followers and fans to include their life narratives (biographies), works and everything about them in this section dedicated to martial art personalities.

Throughout the centuries of Traditional Martial Arts lives the warrior. My Grandfather was a king by all rights. He was known throughout 3 kingdoms as King Ado. Among these kingdoms were, Kingdom of Klikor in Ghana, Kingdom of Mission Tove in Togo & Kingdom of Agoe in Togo. Now according to the history of these kingdoms, my grandfather was first a warrior whose main priority was to pass along his knowledge of open hand combat and weapons techniques to defend the honor and land from all enemies before becoming the King he was meant to be. Many did come to ask the important question. “Where is it that you have received your training?” His response was always short and simple, “Our ancestors”

July 30th 1976 at 9:10am in Lome, Togo a Prince of the Royal Family of Klickor (in Ghana) was born. At a young age, my first Master was my Dad Mr. Hukporti-Kpelly Kossi one of the top religious and spiritual man in West-Africa, He educated and teach me the principles and Laws of the Christian religion that is in the Holly Bible He raise me with the Love and Fear of GOD in my heart and mind and he told me when I was in my teenage years my son you are a Christian live your life according to the scripture not according to man and walk with Trust and Faith in GOD nothing else through Jesus-Christ name. I began the study of Martial Arts. I started in a discipline known as Shotokan at the age of 4years old from one of my older brother Sensei Aniaku, Peter Claver. It didn’t take me long before I found myself learning the ways of Taekwan-Do throughout books. Sometime there after I met 3 enthusiast by the names of Sabonim Patrick Placa, Sabonim Aklesso Richard and Sabonim Malam Oumarou Seidou. They turned my passion for Martial Arts into a reality. The teachings I received from them was under the WTF (World Taekwan-Do Federation) in Togo. Before long I had my first temple (dojo) called Temple Des Moines (Monks Temple) in Lome, Togo. I began doing the very same things that was handed down to me by my masters.

I received my first National Referee degree and my 2nd Dan (degree) in 1996. Around the same time I was appointed the duty of Captain of the National Taekwon-Do WTF Team in Togo, West Africa. During these years I was also given my 2nd Dan for my study in ITF (International Taekwon-Do Federation) which I received my training at the North Korean Embassy that was located in my country. One special thing about this training is that my certification came from the Founder of Taekwon-Do himself, Grand-Master General Choi Hong Hi at no charge. In 1997 I had the opportunity to learn Aikido, Yoga and even Tai-Chi.

Along these time frames I was given the position as the Taekwon-Do Instructor for the Presidential Body Guards Green Berrets in Togo. I was certify by the sports department of Presidential Commando Regiment, to teach the guards the knowledge of Taekwon-Do the needed.Ihold many Championship Title for Heavy Weights in Forms, Weapons and Sparring in 1996 to the date I stop going to tournament I had 3 lost ending up with 2nd and 3rd place and one eliminatory section in my entire tournament tour. I was very proud of this accomplishment due to I was able to hold this titles for many years. About the same time I went for my 3rd degree Black Belt in Taekwon-Do WTF. I practice Evala (Evala is a ceremony of traditional empty hand combat, wrist controls, throws and ground techniques from the Kabye ethnics from the North of Togo to become man). The one thing I began to notice when I go train in different Martial Art school to learn there and perfect my techniques, after anywhere from 2 weeks to a month, I would quickly pick up all the techniques that they would have to offer. I found myself searching for more that I was not getting from these styles. As a matter of fact, I would find myself in front of the class teaching something that I only trained for; for a short time. One day I went to different school to practice with them and the Instructor Sabonim Daniel after he made us do all the kicks and blocks he asked as to do Forms and my Forms wasn't to good so he asked me who give you a blue belt? I had no unswer for it because I give it to myself while learning his style from book cut long story short he took my belt away and gave me a white belt. After class I went home and I wasn't sad but I began training more and after one month of intense training I went back this time with a red belt he didn't say anything but was so surprise about my evolution in Forms with precision and all; he put me in front of the class and I teached class that day for him he named me the Moine (Monk) and most of the time I go and train with his school or teach techniques even he asked me for advise about some of the techniques he is teaching. At that time his school was the top school in Lome our capital in Togo. In January 1998 I became the certified representative of the ITF (International Taekwon-Do Federation) and was appointed this position by the North Korean Embassy approved by the ITF HQ in Vienna Austria. This was the same time that I decided to stop training with the WTF (World Taekwon-Do Federation) and focus purely on ITF. By September 1998 I decided that it was time to create the Togolese Taekwon-Do Association ITF. This association was a key role in becoming the man that I am. Only thing I can say is “GOD has made me a Legend”

Foundation Wola-Do: "Wola-Do/Wola-Mo was already created by GOD before I was born. GOD send me on Earth to remind to all HIS Word and to put the physical foundation of this particular work of HIS. This mean that I am just a tool for GOD. Thank and Blessing to HIM for choosing me in Jesus-Christ name". So by the end of 1998 I came to the conclusion that it was time to create a Martial Art Discipline that was vast is both spiritual and physical aspects. This was something I knew that I would spend the rest of my life on this earth mastering; a Martial Art base on the teaching of Jesus-Christ this mean a Christian base Martial Art System. The creation of the Wola-Do / Wola-Mo system came from a long period of dictator ship, and was the root cause of poverty and human sacrifice for my fellow Africans and other human beings around the world. Wola-Do is one of the most sophisticated Martial Arts. With high levels of effective discipline, utilization of mans powers both physical and mental aspects. This at the first glance may appear that it is just another method of defending yourself. This it is NOT! Wola-Do is a discipline of coordination, a way of strengthening our body and minds when we seem to run out of everything else. It is also a power of fusing an individual’s mental and physical energy so that they can emerge as a stronger human being and Unite more with GOD even if the are from different Religion spiritual teaching have no boundering for Race, Idealogie or Religion but is Universal Buddhist, Hindu or Every Religion can learn it and apply it toward the teaching of there Religion because my Lord Jesus-Christ teaching is an Universal teaching " Love your neigboor the way you love yourself and love GOD with all your heart and saw" don't trust in anything else. and the teaching is simple and easy to understand. You don't have to leave your religion but it is going to give you more understanding on how to connect more with GOD your Creator. GOD Word was tested and apply by letter by Jesus-Christ and he passed, is like in Martial Art we get our belt testing is the same he did but on the spiritual side. So think twice and learn from a human being that pass the test at it highest level. Many people learn different martial Arts and Everyone want to learn from the best Instructor or school while doing there own searching in martial art world Christian learn Buddism when the go in Korea for Taekwon-Do seminar or in China for Kung fu or go visit the Mosque and learn about Prophet Mohamed and this happen ofteen and everyday and the love it SO WHY NOT DO THE SAME HERE. My personal phylosophy is: "The spirit leads through the way of the Universe not the way of Human being". I strongly beleive that no man is tempted by GOD the LORD of Lords when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed; Because GOD is so PURE and HOLLY; HE can't be tempted to do evil to anyone of HIS OWN Creature. Everyone is tempted when he is attracted and prisoner of his own mistake, desires and negative toughts and from there Sin come in, then the Masters protector of the Universe working under GOD will apply the Laws of Thruth from GOD on that particular person. PS: THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BLAME GOD WHEN YOU ARE IN TROUBLE TIMES.

One night in the early am hours, I was in a deep meditation and prayer. I was pondering at the idea asking GOD to go home that I finish my mission on Earth. While I was in this deep meditation, I could feel this invisible light that had me paralyzed from head to toe. This light that I speak was so pure, and clear, that it was more divine then the sunlight we all are use to. Inside this light was a spirit. This light and spirit passed though me as if it was purifying me. The only thing that I knew deep in my heart was I had just crossed over. I then realized that I was communicating with one of the Master Spirit gardian of the seal of the Universe send by GOD the LORD of Lords. Once it disappeared, I knew that I had more to do here in Earth. Our conversation, while deep and fulfilling I cannot share. The one thing I can share is this; it was where the name Wola-Do/Wola-Mo (The Way Of The UNIVERSE or Way Of The CREATOR or The Way Of GOD) came into the picture. I became obsessed with writing down all the techniques, and creation of this style. I started teaching it to some of my closest friends. It wasn’t long after I began teaching these students that I realized that is time to go on a mission. I needed to go abroad to raise money and build my own Academy and Temple. I needed a new Temple there in Togo; one that all my students and student from different styles and visitor around the World would come and enjoy the teachings and learning’s I had to offer. By October 2000 I found myself in USA teaching myself English and trying to earn money to take home with me. While in the United States, I traveled to a Canadian Seminar hosted by the ITF. There I met the son of the Founder of Taekwon-Do, Grandmaster Choi Jong Hwa. He became the President of the ITF after his dad pass away. He told me something about myself that I will never forget, “Hukporti, from Togo, you make me feel the spirit of Martial Arts” A true honor coming from a man of stature. So, my journey began.

On January 16th 2002 I became officially certified by BUTODRA (Togolese Copyright HQ) as the Author and Writer of Wola-Do / Wola-Mo Martial Art. By January 2002 the first Wola-Do / Wola-Mo Association was build in Lome capital of Togo. I rendered it the name of Hukporti’s Academy of Martial Art Wola-Do and appointed myself as the president. Another great achievement of mine was February 15th 2007 I was certified by the Martial Arts Masters World Federation located in Dunedin, Florida as Doctor PhD in Martial Arts Science. My biggest achievement of my entire life or better yet a mile stone for my hard work came in 2010 while trying to made a 4years old young boy and a 12 years old young girl dream come true in Wola-Do. On May 17th 2010, I was given my right as United States Citizen; This is when I changed my name from Hukporti, Aloedzi Wolasime to Hukporti-King, Aloedzi Wolasime to thank GOD for changing my life and for choosing me to do use and teach his word and do what he want on Earth and is a great honor for me to be at his service until I HE call my Spirit home. This is the last 33 years of my life. As I stand before you, a proud man, an honest man and the one founder of the first ever Christian Based Martial Art around the world may the blessing of GOD the Architect of the entire Universe, GOD of all God's shine upon you in Jesus-Christ name OM! Shanti (Infinite Peace!), OM! Lonlon (Infinite Love!) Amen (So be it).

Feature Article edit Born Lee Jun Fan, on November 27, 1940, in San Francisco, California. His father, a Hong Kong opera singer, moved with his wife and three children to the United States in 1939; his fourth child, a son, was born while he was on tour in San Francisco. Lee’s mother called him “Bruce,” which means “strong one” in Gaelic. Young Bruce appeared in his first film at the age of three months, when he served as the stand-in for an American baby in Golden Gate Girl. Lee finished high school in Edison, Washington, and subsequently enrolled as a philosophy major at the University of Washington. He also got a job teaching the Wing Chun style of martial arts that he had learned in Hong Kong to his fellow students and others. Through his teaching, Lee met Linda Emery, whom he married in 1964. By that time, Lee had opened his own martial arts school in Seattle. He and Linda soon moved to California, where Lee opened two more schools in Los Angeles and Oakland. At his schools, Lee taught mostly a style he called Jeet Kune Do.
