Cuong Nhu is a modern eclectic martial art that of Vietnamese origin blends elements of Karate, Wing Chun, Judo, Aikido, Tai Chi Chuan, Boxing, and Vovinam. Thus, it also combines the principles of internal style and external style martial arts. Its wide variety of techniques in both areas enable one to use techniques accordingly when faced with various situations. Cuong Nhu means "hard-soft" in Vietnamese and was developed by Master Ngo Dong in 1965.
